In 2013 Flame was appointed by advertising agency Media One as the visual production facility for the ColorSteel ad campaign. The ad was conceptualized by Creative Director Chris Pearson – an ad industry veteran who has contracted Flame for many other broadcast projects promoting NZ retail brands.
ColorSteel was a major nationwide campaign, which in addition to sponsoring “Grand Designs” TV show, included large format central billboard sites. Flame’s execution of the creative involved developing a custom motion graphics pipeline that would allow the Creative Director versatility to make changes before the tight deadline.
For 2D character animation Flame hired Auckland-based cartoonist Matthew Wilson, with audio engineering & a custom score created by the VoiceBox in Ponsonby.
